Mark A. Peay
“Kingdom Worshiper”
Mark A. Peay epitomizes the heart of a true Worshiper. Whether saturating the atmosphere through his anointed Worship on piano and keyboard, or declaring the Kingdom with Authority and power-packed Praise vocally, he is quickly identified as “not your average psalmist”.
Known across the country as a music director, worship leader, mentor, and pastor to musicians, Mark is often called an impresario for his masterful skill, technique and passion in music. After being prophesied to by anointed recording artist, Rev. Daryl Coley that he would be used to teach musicians across the globe how to flow with the anointing and not just skill, he has been on a course to lead God’s people into a lifestyle of pure, uncluttered praise. His upcoming worship CD project, “Alone With You, Live from the Faithdome”, is now available for online purchase or at the Crenshaw Christian Center Bookstores.
Peay is a sought-after teacher and music workshop clinician. He has served as a Music Director for Grammy nominated vocalist, Kelly Price and famed playwright, Tyler Perry, as well as numerous church ministries including Crenshaw Christian Center Ministries, where he serves as Music and Worship Arts Coordinator under the leadership of Apostle Frederick K.C. Price and Pastor Frederick Price, Jr.
Working with children is very important for Mark. As a father, he understand the need to instill values and foster artistic talent at an early age. He showcases his love for the theater and arts through his children’s play “Lemonade”. “Lemonade!” is the inspirational urban tale that depicts the determination and perseverance of a group of talented young performers who must succeed against all odds to fulfill their desire to be America’s next Super-Star Sensation. Needing to raise funds for their share of expenses to travel out of state for the audition, they encounter powerful life-lessons in their journey and develop lasting friendships along the way.
